About us

Water experts caring for people and the environment

At Veolia, we specialise in the comprehensive management of the water cycle, contributing to the creation of smart, resilient and inclusive cities. We manage every stage of the water cycle, from collection to treatment and return to the environment.

We carry out our activity through different operators based on territory in which we provide service, in coordination with local governments to guarantee integrated and sustainable management of water resources, adapted to the needs and characteristics of each place.

Specifically, in the area of the municipality you have selected, we operate through Hidrogea, Gestión Integral de Aguas de Murcia, S.A.

Management and prevention systems

We realise that our business is directly related to people’s quality of life. Therefore, in each of our decisions we try to apply the following principles of excellence, innovation, dialogue, sustainable business development and local development.

Our management system is based on compliance with the Integrated Management Policy

We have obtained certificates aligned to our efforts in providing a quality service and creating a safe, optimum working environment for our staff. Alongside this, the Occupational Health and Safety Policy is developed in a complementary manner.

Ethics and compliance

We apply a Code of Ethics that defines our organisation’s mission and values and serves as a benchmark in everything we do, both individually and as a group. We have also implemented an Ethics Channel to report confidentially – and anonymously, if desired – acts contrary to current legislation, the company's internal rules and/or its Code of Ethics.
