Hidrogea, Club Basket Cartagena and Club Deportivo Primi Sport work together to promote inclusion in sport.

Hidrogea supported Club Basket Cartagena in holding a charity sporting event to integrate groups of people at risk of exclusion and people with physical, intellectual or sensory disability. The aim was to integrate them in activities that promoted sporting and competitive spirit, such as basketball, and help increase their self-esteem and sporting ability.

The presentation of the official teams and schools of Club Basket Cartagena last Saturday at the Wssell Guimbarda Pavilion was the setting for a friendly match between the players from Club Deportivo Primi Sport and members of the Club Basket Cartagena EBA squad. Two mixed teams were picked from both clubs to play a form of the game chosen by Club Deportivo Primi Sport, to ensure a close result and exciting game.

Club Deportivo Primi Sport is a sports association based in Cartagena, founded in 2003 by parents of pupils at Primitiva López state special education school. It arose from the idea of providing a sports centre to persons with disabilities, using sport to improve their quality of life and enabling them to take part in local, regional and national competitions, with the aim of raising awareness of disability and helping normalise it.
