Cartagena's business women learn about the complete water cycle

" "

The Association of Professional Business Women of Cartagena (AMEP) visited the Hidrogea offices in Cartagena to get an inside look at how the company manages the complete water cycle to supply over 210,000 residents in the city.

The company general manager, Fulgencio Díaz, accompanied by the company’s departmental managers, showed the visitors the technology applied to provide an efficient service with fully guaranteed quality, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Thus the business women learned about managing the water supply and sewer system networks by remote control, the numerous health controls applied to water, the bill tariff structure and the important environmental and social work Cartagena’s water company carries out.

The president of AMEP, Nuria Castillo Rodríguez, expressed her thanks and enthusiasm for the initiative, which provides a more immediate and transparent look at how the water service works.
